The Bairnsdale and District Arts Society will proudly present their Spring Art Show from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th October 2025. Open to all artists, you are invited to enter artworks, compete for prizes and offer paintings for sale.

Spring Art Show Schedule

Thursday afternoon, 9th October 2025 between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm — Deliver your Artworks to St. John's Hall.

Friday, 10th October 2025 at 6:00 pm — Gala Opening Night and Prize Presentations. Drinks and Nibbles provided. Exhibiting Artists are admitted free. Admission price for guests and general public is $10.00 payable at the door.

Saturday, 11th October 2025, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm — Art Display.

Sunday, 12th October 2025, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm — Art Display.

Sunday afternoon, 12th October 2025 after 3:00 pm — Collect unsold Artworks after the Art Show has closed.
Prizes to be Awarded at the Gala Opening Night

$250.00 — Best oil/acrylic.

$250.00 — Best other works on paper.

$250.00 — Best mixed media.

$100.00 — Ted Berry encouragement award.

$100.00 — People's choice award in memory of Deb Gray.

Terms and Conditions of Entry
Entry into the Art Show is open to all artists. Artworks can be any subject.

Artwork: No wet paintings or computer generated images accepted. No photographs.

Framing: Stretched canvasses must have rigid and adequate cross members. Each work must be fitted with substantial wire and flush D hangers.

Labelling: Each work must be well labelled on the back with the name of the artist, title of the work, selling price and medium.

Commission Payable: 20% for artworks sold.

Right to Exclude: The Art Society reserves the right to exclude entries, if the numbers exceed available hanging space.

Promotion: All entries may be used for promoting the event.
Details of Artworks

Framed Works: A maximum of 4 framed works may be entered at $10.00 each. They must be the original artwork of the Artist and they must be “For Sale”.

Unframed Works: Not accepted.

Print the form and fill it out. Note the payment options. Mail the form or hand deliver to our Arts Centre.

Enter relevant details. Add to Cart. Proceed through the Checkout.
Check your name and contact details at Checkout Step 2.
Submit entry and receive a confirmation message by email.

(1) EFT Direct Deposit into the Arts Society Bendigo Bank Account, OR
(2) In person by Cash or Credit Card at the Bairnsdale and District Arts Society, Cnr Anderson and Hodgson Streets, Bairnsdale. Open Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 12:00 Noon.
