Art Classes

The Arts Society offers you a fantastically resourced workshop on the corner of Anderson and Hodgson Streets in Bairnsdale where we run art classes Monday to Friday each week at a very moderate price. There are also regular 4 week specialist art courses in, for example, portraiture and contemporary art. Several times a year reputable Art Tutors hold workshops to teach members.

Our Arts Centre is well appointed with seating, tables, excellent lighting, kitchen facilities, bathrooms, equipment cleaning area, air conditioning and easels. We have a substantial library where members can borrow art books, magazines and DVD's. Cars can be parked on site without fear of attracting a parking ticket.

We now have Disabled Toilet Facilities funded by a Federal Government Grant and installed by the East Gippsland Shire Council.

Come along and pick up a pencil, some charcoal, a paint brush or pastel. You will be warmly welcomed and encouraged in your art.
