Bairnsdale and District Arts Society

was formed in 1981 as a non-profit voluntary organisation. If you are interested to learn art and develop your skills, the society is the ideal place where people can meet, discuss, learn and share their artworks.

Bairnsdale and District Arts Society Centre

We run low cost art classes every week in our fantastically resourced workshop. The Society offers you a clean, well-lit space where you can create to your heart's content. The Arts Centre Workshop is well appointed with seating, tables, kitchen facilities, bathrooms, equipment cleaning area, air conditioning and easels. Cars can be parked on site without fear of attracting a parking ticket.

Every Monday or Thursday morning, members can come in and work on their own art. Other experienced artists will always be on hand to offer suggestions and help, if desired. This is a major benefit in becoming a member of the Bairnsdale and District Arts Society.

Occasionally the society present Art Exhibitions for members and the general public. The committee also arrange trips to other major exhibitions and art related events.

  • For the information of others, please do accept our invitation to submit your own personal review about your experience at the Bairnsdale and District Arts Society. You can write a review on oogle and/or Facebook.
